During my crisis communication class, we were tasked with identifying a real-world crisis and writing an analysis report about it. The case I chose to write about was the Duke University Lacrosse Scandal. The report assessed the incident, discussed Duke’s communication response, and provided the positive and negative outcomes of the crisis, as well as the ethical concerns associated with it.
